Awach SACCOS presented its experiences and successful journey on the National Cooperative Day bazar, symposium, and exhibition, which were celebrated in Mekele City with the slogan “Strengthening Cooperatives for Peace and Development” and started on April 20, 2024, and ended on April 27, 2024.
Awach always supports and takes part in such great events to reveal its stunning support. It's well known that coming together to help each other and solve each other's problems is the key to cooperatives. Unity is a source of greatness, so the united power of all cooperatives, especially SACCOS, can make a difference.
On the occasion, the principle of the International Cooperative, which highlights the unity of similar cooperatives and having smooth relations, was stressed. By the side of Awach, the head of the Executive Secretariat Office, Mrs. Tigist Garomsa, and the Research and Marketing Team Leader, Mrs. Ruth Damtachew, took part in the event.
