Awach held the 47th International Cooperative Alliance-Africa board members meeting, which was the first in Ethiopia, on March 25, 2024, by representing Ethiopian SACCOS. Before Addis Ababa's meeting, the ICA-Africa held its meetings in Kenya, Nigeria, Botswana, and other African countries.
Fortunately, the board members visited the Awach SACCOS head office and had a meeting with our board members. The founder and CEO of Awach SACCOS, Mr. Zerihun Sheleme, introduced and presented about the foundation and growth of SACCOS. It's known that Awach is taking part in different African countries ICA meetings, and it is stretching fast to meet its 2030 vision goal of being a world-class cooperative.
